History of Our Family Restaurant

The Zestos Family has owned and operated restaurants in the Saginaw area since the early 1950s. Fuzzy's was acquired by John and Eva Zestos in 2000, and has been run by their daughter, Elaine Tambouridis for over 10 years.

Under Elaine’s leadership, our family restaurant has been remodeled and expanded to keep up with the growing Tri-Cities area. Elaine strives to continue the Zestos’ family traditions started by her father Johnny, who has also owned former Saginaw staples such as Howard Johnsons, Zestos Family Restaurant, Johnny’s Chick-Inn, and Bonanza Steakhouse.

Fuzzy’s Restaurant is well-known throughout Mid-Michigan for its tasty menu and 32 flavors of Mooney’s Ice Cream. Additionally, we are renowned for our Famous Johnny’s Rice Pudding, our trademark Folded Sandwiches, and our signature Homemade Cinnamon Bread. We also pride ourselves on our daily dinner specials, which include homemade specialties made from scratch, as well as our numerous bakery items made fresh daily.

From appearing in the movie Street Boss, to being a stop on Vice President Joe Biden’s motorcade, Fuzzy’s Restaurant has served famous clientele from far and wide.
